Advanced Bottles Leak 09/01/2008

I bought the Advanced bottles when my son was born a few months ago. I had used the original VentAire with my daughter and absolutely loved them. I was very disappointed with the "Advanced" version of this bottle. It leaks horribly from the bottom and squirts milk out of the nipple into my son's face. I was told to make sure the parts were completely dry before assembling, I've done that and they still leak (besides the fact that I times I don't have time to wait until they are completely dried). I've read that you can't use a bottle warmer with these - who wants to listen to their baby cry for 10 minutes while it sits in a cup of hot water?

Original Ventaire was A LOT better 08/17/2008

We have been using the Ventaire bottles with our son for the past 10 months. The stage 2 nipples are still too strong of a milk flow so we have had to use the stage 1 but replace the nipples along the way. I as very disappointed to see that we could no longer buy replacements for our current bottles so we had to purchase brand new bottles and got the Ventaire Advanced. I HATE them!!!! You have to be careful when you shake them because the formula will squirt out the top if it's upside down. Our diaper bag also shifted in the backseat of our car and when we stopped we had a wet backseat from the bottle leaking. If your baby is fighting when you're trying to give them a bottle, both of you will be wearing the milk. It's extremely annoying. I am not happy with these new bottles. If the nipples were similar to the original Ventaire nipples, they might be okay. It's a very poor design and I wonder if the product was tested before it was put on the market. I'm highly disappointed that I spent the money on this product that I did....especially since the original Ventaire was so wonderful.

I used the playtex ventaire bottles with both of my kids. (one is 15m and one is 4 weeks) In my personal opinion the advance ventaire bottles are better then the ventaire but they are both amazing and i have been able to hear the air leaving to bottle. THESE ARE A MUST HAVE FOR ANY MOTHER!

I purchased this set a month ago and it has been a disaster ever since. The milk leaks from the bottom. Therefore, milk drips all over my baby. I don't know about anyone else but formula is not cheap these days, so every drop is vital.
