Playtex has done a great job to help make pumping and feeding easier! Deciding which pump to purchase was a huge one, especially since they are not returnable if you don't like it or it doesn't work well. I originally set out to purchase a Medela pump, but at the last minute I decided to try the Playtex Embrace. I liked the idea of the storage system Playtex has come up with for your breastmilk, and I figured that I would at least have that if I didn't like the pump and had to switch to another. Now I am glad that I gave it a try! I love how everything works together for pumping, storing, and feeding. I have been using the pump for about 1 month now, gradually increasing use as I am introducing the bottle to my son before I return to work. So far no signs of any problems with the pump motor as others have mentioned. Noise level for the pump is moderate. I wouldn't mind if it was quieter, but it is not so loud that it is disturbing to anyone. At first I was a little discouraged with the amount of milk I was getting, but I read that you have to give your breasts a chance to adapt to being pumped. Now I am getting more than enough for my son's daily feedings plus a little extra to store. I recommend reading the "M.O.M." booklet about breastfeeding that Playtex includes in the system. It helped me as I have adapted from just breastfeeding to breastfeeding and pumping.
