The Playtex® Petite Double Electric Breast Pump is a high-quality, discreetly-sized electric breast pump designed for ultimate comfort and efficiency. Three levels of fully adjustable suction let you control your own pumping experience. The unique, patented Soft Comfort® Breast Cups massage the breast while pumping and provide suction from the side, rather than pulling and tugging directly on the nipple as many other systems do, for ultimate comfort and fast let-down. The pump utilizes a unique closed system to protect breast milk against contamination. Can be used for single or double pumping.

If you are serious about breast feeding, this is not a good pump. It worked well if you only needed to use it as a single pump, but when you go back to work, who has time for that? As a double pump it just isn't strong enough!

After 2nd day end of y connector split. I bought this after owning a medela and another brand. My medela broke after first child so here I am looking for a cheaper one 1 year later. I had to take the hose off my medela to get it to work. Suction is okay, not as strong as it should be. This pump has way too many parts to have to wash. I am seriously considering rigging it up to my medela breast cup instead of cleaning this many parts. I use between classes and well time is of the essence here.

Terrific for the price....could use one more stronger setting..used for a year and was able to pump 8 oz per breast...gotta really relax and focus..

I would not recommend this pump to any mother. The sucking power is not strong enough, even on the highest setting, to get more than an ounce of breast milk. It also takes a few minutes to put back together after washings and the drop in liners can't be frozen, so you have to transfer the milk to another container. After much frustration and having to supplement with formula, I tired another brand of breast pump and within half the time had over double the milk.The one and only thing I liked about the Playtex Petite was the comfort of it.

I have used this pump since April when my first baby was born. At first I only used it occasionally to start bringing up milk supply and pre-pump bottles so I would not have to nurse in public since I was just getting the hang of it. I now use it multiple times a day since I went back to work for the past 3 months. I had the same problem as many others with the plastic connector for the hose to the pump splitting (after only the first couple of uses). I decided heck what point does it serve? and just connected the hose directly to the pump bypassing that piece all together. I have not had any issues at all with the hose sealing off. So problem solved there. I would say 90% of the time my pumping results in adequate milk supply. I typically can start it in the middle speed (while double pumping) to get my milk to let down then turn it all the way up. I usually can get about 4-5 ounces per breast in about 15 minutes. I do wish sometimes I could turn it up a little more once I get really into it but I guess all in all it does not take that much longer to get what I need. With only having the 3 settings, when I have trouble getting it to come down this pump will not help. I have tried on a couple occasions for like 30 minutes which only resulted in an ounce and some major swelled ninnies within an hour or so. For the most part though it does the job.
