We received this at our shower and love it! It's easy to use and keeps the nursery smelling great. You don't have to have any tools or even sissors around because they thought of everything with this. The only negative is the price of the refills but we can't go without this product!

I love this!! My son is starting to go to regular foods and now, his nursery is odor free and care free. It is wonderful against leaks and odors. I do not mind buying the refills for it because it is definitely money well spent.

We were given a diaper genie 2 as a shower gift and we love it! I love that it is not complicated to use and it keeps the stink out of the house! the only problem I have with it is that the liner refill pack does not last as long as I would like it to, but the refills aren't that expensive, so I guess it is ok. I recommend this to any mother-to-be!

The Diaper Ginie 1 worked better! 05/28/2007

We purchased the Diaper Genie 2 for our second child, because the Diaper Genie 1 had worked great with our first. The Diaper Ginie 2's lid would not seal all the way down so the smell filled the room. Also you have to push the diapers in with your hand instead of on the Diaper Ginie 1 where you put the diaper in and twist the handle. Not to mention in the Diaper Ginie 1 it twists the diapers in the bag to "seal" them from smell, In the Ginie 2 they just stack on top of each other. Also the 1 has different bags for different ages to help with smell, While the 2 has one standard type bag. Bottom line get the Diaper Ginie 1 and not the 2.
